Hello,

You are a part of the new incoming class of 2012 !! That has a nice sound to it and looks cool too! I am the advisor to all new students in the College of Textiles. The College of Textiles uses early registration for all incoming students. This is AWESOME news!! This means you will become very familiar with our registration website, Registration and Records.
I strongly urge you to go to the For Student site and check out everything.

In order to register early, you must be patient with figuring out how all of this is done. This website is designed to walk you through the process, but an excellent piece of advice is to see if someone who is in college, particularly NCSU, can help you actually use the registration system. I do know that last year’s group, who also registered early, was totally glad they had.

So, you absolutely MUST read everything carefully and follow instructions exactly as they are written. When in doubt, read it again. This is an exercise in following instructions and will show you something about how well you do. You should consider printing these pages.

In addition to reading carefully, you MUST follow these steps in the order they are presented. You are reading Step 1 now. So this clearly means to read step 2 next and so forth.

Once again, we are completely excited that you are coming to the College of Textiles. Feel free to contact either of us if you need help after you have read carefully and tried.
