Why is the College of Textiles special? Best Textile School in the world (profs, lab space, funding), prepare students for jobs quite well. Technical textiles are strong and need more engineers  
     
Current Responsibilities: We work with doctors and medical companies to develop cutting edge medical implant devices. Travel 2-3 times a month through out the US and Europe. Help write and develop patents. Involved with project budget and time lines.  
     
Career Path: Worked for a large medical company, small medical company, assistant professor at Phlliy U,, consulting work, Director of R&D Prodesco, VP of R&D Secant Medical  
     
What is your work environment like? Working for a medical company has it's perks, we meet great people (doctors, researchers, nurses), very modern/high tech tools and equipment.
