Production
Manager
Knights Apparel LLC is a wholesaler and importer of men's clothing dealing primarily in the sports licensed and sports
branded market segments. Knights Apparel LLC primary customers are value market
and include: KMart, Wal-Mart, Sams, Meijers, Target,
Sears and Kohl's.
This individual will report to Mr.Gordon Orr Executive Vice
President Sourcing and Overseas Operations.
Job Description: The Production Manager will be responsible
for implementing and regular follow-up of our enhanced quality control process
in 60 factories in 12 countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East , South and
Central America. Production manager will be responsible for maintaining weekly
status update system on all orders in process, inventorying
available production capacity for all approved factories, locating and
evaluating potential new factories in current producing countries as well as
new venture countries. The production manager is
a vital part of the added value equation assuring continuous highest possible
quality and on time or
early delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a textile undergraduate degree
with emphasis in knitted fabrics, dyeing and finishing. Three to seven
years experience in knit fabric production and or garment
manufacturing is required. US citizenship is a requirement.
