Did You Know?

                In a senior survey that the university has recently completed, the following are statistics that you might find interesting.  In student satisfaction our senior rankings continue to be outstanding in several areas.  For example, 61.1% of our seniors stated their intellectual growth needs were met very well compared to a university average of 53.8% and next best college of 57.5%.

1.  In both career training needs and personal growth needs seniors rated the College of Textiles as #1 at NC State.

2.  We were also ranked at the top in ability to carry projects independently, ability to critically analyze ideas/information and enhancing analytic skills.

3.  In computer skills our students ranked us second to the College of Engineering, in math skills we ranked second to PAMS, and in independence and self reliance we were second to Design. 

4.  We achieved top rankings in speaking skills, listening skills, applying the scientific method, and writing skills.
