Graduate Degrees Offered

The Department offers several graduate degree programs. Students who have earned a Bachelor's degree in Textiles, or in any other related area, may apply to the Master's program which has a course only option and a course plus project/thesis option.

The Master of Textiles degree (course only option) is intended primarily for students interested in professional practice. The Master of Science in Textiles (course plus project/thesis option) is intended primarily for students interested in obtaining research experience or pursuing a Ph.D. degree.

Students who have earned a Master's degree in Textiles or in any other discipline of science, engineering, technology, or management may apply to either of the two college-wide Doctoral programs in Fiber and Polymer Science and Textile Technology Management.
