Mr. Errol Purkett, graduate of the College of Textiles with a degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry, spoke to the NCSU AATCC student chapter on February 21, 2008. Now working for Closure Medical Corporation in Raleigh, he helped in the development and marketing of DERMABOND, the medical "liquid stitch". Mr. Purkett demonstrated how DERMABOND works and the chemistry behind it.
