Mission Statement
To develop a long-term strategic program at NCSU to promote research, education, extension, and public service in multidisciplinary areas pertaining to transportation systems, including vehicles and infrastructure, in support of major university thrust areas including economic development, environmental stewardship and sustainable community development, and education excellence. The NCSU Automotive and Transportation Planning Group, a multidisciplinary team of NCSU faculty and staff from departments in the Colleges of Engineering and Textiles, as well as the Solar Center and ITRE, has identified existing, ongoing activities in related areas Automotive Industry Forum Sponsored by NCSU Industrial Extension Service and the College of Textiles' Automotive Research in conjunction with Underwriters Laboratories Please join us for a half-day discussion on topics relevant to suppliers in the automotive industry.
