Call for Papers

JTATM seeks submissions for refereed articles. These should provide new understanding about the technology and management of fibers, textiles, manufacturers, retailers, as well as the environment and markets in which textile and apparel companies operate and evolve.

TATM Graduate Corner

Postgraduate Education TATM offers graduate programs leading to Masters degrees, which are either thesis based (MS) or non-thesis (MT). TATM faculty are also very actively involved in PhD programs in Textile Technology & Management and Fiber and Polymer Science. Details of the programs can be found at:

International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA)

The Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles (KSCT) and International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) announce the joint world conference to be held in Seoul, Korea, June 12-15, 2001. The conference will offer research/scholarship presentations, creative teaching/curriculum presentations, design/artwork presentations, and special session. More information is available at:

The Spring 2001 Meeting of the Fiber Society will be held at the College of Textiles, North Carolina State University.

The theme of this conference is "the new frontiers in fiber-based products". Papers dealing with the developments in the chemistry, science, technology and engineering of new fibers and/or other innovative fiber based-products would be suitable for this meeting.

Please send a 2-page extended abstract to the Chair of the Conference listed below. Please specify if the abstract is for a presentation or for a poster.

Abstracts must be received for consideration by February 15, 2001
