Healthtex Kidproof HangtagNew product innovation is a key to global competitiveness. Healthtex®, a division of VF Corporation, has developed a new product, Kidproof™ to remain a leader in marketing children's wear to department, chain, and kid's specialty stores.

Kidproof™ is an innovation new knit fabric process treatment that significantly reduces staining, shrinking and color fading -- without increasing the price. Kidproof™ is the result of years of research, including vigorous "wash and wear" tests by independent laboratories and the University of Kentucky.

 

Healthtex Kidproof Process

This products is exclusive to VF Playwear. Gary Simmons, President of VF Playwear, makers of Healthtex, says in regard to the new product, "The kids get to be kids, and Moms get children's clothes that will perform better, are easier to care for, and last longer."

Kidproof™ boasts of six key attributes:

    • reduces shrinkage by 50%
    • reduces fading by 40%
    • resistance to most stains, including ketchup, chocolate, grape juice, and grass
