Sudhakar Jaganathan, recent M.S. graduate of the College of Textiles, is one of only ten successful candidates for the 2005 International Wool Textile Organization scholarship. IWTO globally promotes and supports education in textiles to increase awareness of the unique properties of wool and wool blend products. This prestigious scholarship funded by the Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) will provide an internship at the Wool Research Institute in Aachen, Germany during the summer of 2005. This program is open to textile and fashion students and textile employees from around the world. Successful applicants are offered internships in one of the companies or organizations that are active across the wool pipeline from “sheep to shop."

He worked with Golden Home Textile as a quality control manager before joining the graduate program in Textile Management Technology at North Carolina State University in Fall 2003.
