DO YOU KNOW WHO YOUR BIG/LITTLE BROTHER IS?

Smoker - Thursday, February 10, 2005 @ 5:30pm in Convocation Center (room 2309)

Information Sessions - Tuesday, February 15, 2005 @ 5:00pm in Student Lounge
Wednesday, February 16, 2005 @ 4:30pm in Student Lounge

Pledge Events: These are for you to get to know the brothers and for us to get to know you. You must attend at least two of these.

Pledge Event #1: Friday, February 18 - Ice Skating
Show off your skating ablility at Raleigh Iceplex. We'll meet in the Student Lounge @ COT, at 7:30pm or at the Iceplex at 8pm. The cost is $6.50. Promissory Notes are Due.

Pledge Event #2: Wednesday, February 23 - Charlie Goodnight's
Laugh it up with brothers at a local comedy club. We'll meet in the Student Lounge @ COT, at 7:15pm. Event cost is $2.00.

Pledge Event #3: Monday, February 28 - Funwerks
Laser-tag, putt-putt, go-karts...they have it all. Come have some fun. We'll meet at the Student Lounge @ COT, at 6:45pm.

Pledge Event #4: Wednesday, March 2- Bowling
Let's see if you can knock all the pins down when you come to Western Lanes and bowl with the brothers. We'll meet at the Lanes at 5:30pm.

Pledge Event #5: Thursday, March 3 - Movie Night
Come relax and watch a movie with the brothers after your first pledge test.

Other Required Events:

Tuesday, March 1: 1st/2nd Degrees (First step into the Induction Process)
Meet in the student lounge at 6:00pm and dress professionally.

Wednesday, March 3: Pledge Test #1
Meet in the student lounge at 6:00pm (Test will start promptly). Know officer information, chapter information, and general information.

March 14-18: Phi Psi Week
(see instuctions below)

Friday, March 18: "Last Night"
(see instructions below)

Tuesday, March 29: 3rd Degrees (Final Inductions)
Meet in the student lounge at 6:00pm and dress professionally.

Other Optional Events:

Tuesday, March 1: Shuttle Workshop
We will have saws and sandpaper, so bring your wood for your shuttle. Also, bring a change of clothes since we are meeting after 1st/2nd Degrees.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLEDGE WEEK: (only while on Centennial Campus)

  • Dress up (dresses or dress suites for girls, shirt and tie for the guys)
  • Carry your candy box (full of candy), shuttle and interview book at all times.
  • Wear your shingle around your neck.
  • Get alumni's signatures on your shingle.
  • Get brother's signatures on your shuttle and in your book.
  • See the list in the pledge packet for names of alumni. The brothers will be wearing black and gold ribbons.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR "THE LAST NIGHT":

  • Meet in the student lounge at 5:30pm
  • Bring candy box (refilled) and your shingle, shuttle and interview book complete with signatures.
  • Dress comfortably in old clothes...we will be outside for part of the time.
  • Know your Pledge Packet!
