The Textile Association of Graduate Students, or TAGS, is the official graduate student body at the College of Textiles. Our aims include:
• providing graduate students with a platform to socialize, share, and network with each other
• familiarizing all newly enrolled graduate students with the college
• assisting students with graduate study procedures & guidelines
• acting as a liaison between students and school officials
• serving as a forum for graduate students to voice concerns about any aspect of college life
• connecting graduate students to the UGSA (University Graduate Students Association)
Every textiles graduate student is a member of TAGS, and is invited to participate at meetings and social activities. Regular TAGS meetings are scheduled for the last Wednesday of every month, and all students are strongly encourage to attend. These meetings are provide an opportunity for the graduate students to socialize, discuss matters of importance, and plan future activities.
In addition to new projects, TAGS organizes the following major events:
• Preseminar Snacks - Every Wednesday at 3:00 pm
• International Dinner - Fall Semester
• Student Poster Competition - Spring Semester |
