Outreach 

With over 110 years of teaching, research, and extension, the College of Textiles has proven to be the leading textile college in the world. The College's outreach includes a number of audiences and economic impact in North Carolina and beyond in the past year has been over $17 million in direct savings. Our future students are engaged in elementary, middle and high school through our tours and summer camps. And alumni and anyone interested in continuing their education after an undergraduate degree have our Textiles Online Programs to earn an advanced degree or certificate or our industry short courses and Six Sigma to help them further their career.
