Master Black Belt Certification Process

In order to complete you Master Black Belt Certification, you must submit a portfolio demonstrating your work in the following areas:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge from modules.
    • Complete 2-week course and 3 electives
    • Pass examinations from all courses
    • Provide specific examples of application from your business
  2. Teaching Skills
    • Copies of courses/modules developed
    • Instructor’s guide for modules developed
    • Course evaluations
  3. Coaching/Mentoring
    • Project list
    • Storyboard of completed projects
    • Meeting agendas
  4. Letters of Recommendation, 1 each:
    • Supervisor
    • Green or Black Belt coached
  5. 2nd example
    • Teaching skills or
    • Additional examples of coaching/mentoring

Once you have completed the courses and submitted your portfolio, you must also complete an application for certification.
