The new Master Black Belt program at NC State incorporates a 2-week core training course and 3 elective courses. In order to become Master Black Belt certified, you must complete 5 weeks of training.

New in 2010, the Master Black Belt training program has developed a new training format. Participants take a 2-week training course that provides the core materials needed by Master Black Belts.
