Kevin Grayson
Manufacturing Specialist

Kevin Grayson is a Manufacturing Specialist with NC State University’s IES and serves as the Six Sigma Program Coordinator IES. Prior to joining NCSU Kevin worked for 15 years in manufacturing, last serving as Quality Manager for a Fortune 100 company. Kevin is certified by the American Society for Quality as both a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). He is also a Six-Sigma Black Belt and also a certified Plexus trainer/coach. Kevin has served as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner for four terms. Kevin routinely teaches in-plant courses in FMEA, APQP, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean Manufacturing. Kevin holds dual B.S. degrees from NC State University in Electrical Engineering and Economics, he holds a MBA from Brenau University and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from UNC-Charlotte.
