UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

Admission to the College of Textiles is done whenever admission to NC State takes place. Simply indicate that your major of choice is in textiles on your application to the University.

Admission to the College of Textiles' Graduate program is done through NC State's admissions office. When applying for graduate school, simply indicate that your degree program of choice is textiles.

In order to transfer in to the College of Textiles from another major, we require that you have atleast 3 hours of English, 3-4 hours of Calculus, 4 hours of Chemistry, and atleast a 2.1-2.5 GPA.

DISTANCE EDUCATION

The North Carolina State University Textiles Online Programs - TOP
is designed to provide textile undergraduate courses to any individual seeking an improved textiles education or background (credit of audit). Our textile classes are chemistry, physics, and calculus based. A Bachelor of Science degree is not available through TOP. Presentations are actual classroom lectures complete with student questions and discussions. TOP teaching faculty are professors in the College of Textiles.
