COT Collaboration with Sri Lankan Apparel Industry

Sri Lanka photos

In July 2006, Drs. Oxenham, Hodge, and Cagle visited the country of Sri Lanka to discuss a possible collaboration between the College of Textiles and the Sri Lanka apparel industry. The outcome of the visit was a three-year plan in which faculty from the COT will develop courses in conjunction with faculty from universites in Sri Lanka. The three-part collaboration will include courses in the areas of product design and development, supply chain managment, and industrial engineering.
