North Carolina State Fashion Week 2013 will be held April 22 – 26, 2013. The objective of this week is to showcase the creative talents of student designers for an audience of industry executives, parents and the general public. The theme of our Fashion Week 2013 is “A Celebration of Creativity.”

Arts of Fashion Competition 2013 - Registration theme"Resilience"
The Arts of Fashion Competition exists to: Promote and reward creativity and inventiveness; discover emerging talent and facilitate careers; establish enriching contacts and exchanges between different countries, schools and universities; and to foster new relationships between those from different industries and fields. The laureates received Awards and a Certification for their creative and original work based on the theme of the year. (Judging based on coherence with the theme, skill level, creativity and artful expressiveness).
Registration

April 1, 2013: Submission deadline for all application materials mailed to the Arts of Fashion Foundation
April 20, 2013: Jury session meeting.
May 1, 2013: Candidates selected for the International Final will be listed on the Arts of Fashion website.
October 1, 2013: Submission deadline for all selected projects to be received
Last weekend of October, 2013: Arts of Fashion Symposium and Competition 2013

Lectra, 2013 Mittelmoda Fashion Competition
As you know Mittelmoda is one of the best-known international competitions for Fashion students. Created in 1993, the competition is supported by a solid network of contacts, with over 620 fashion design schools in 66 countries This competition, called “Fil Rouge Defilé” is exclusively dedicated to Lectra Privilege Partners that have integrated the Suite Kaledo in their design courses. It will allow three students to participate to the 21st edition of Mittelmoda and compete in all categories.All candidates must pre-register on-line by completing the application form to be found on www.mittelmoda.com under ‘To Apply’, no later than May, 31 2013. Once pre-registration is granted, the candidate will be required to submit ALL the following qualifying documentation to the Mittelmoda offices, to arrive no later than Saturday 8th June 2013.
