TECS Dept Wins AATCC Best Paper Award 2 Years in a Row

Research to advance Forensic Textile Analytical Chemistry conducted by Drs. Beck and Hinks and two former students was recently awarded the 2012 J.W. Weaver Paper of the Year Award by the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists. Anne Crawford received her M.S. in Textile Chemistry and Nathan Weisner is in the Chemistry Ph.D. program - both focusing on analytical chemistry here at NC State. TECS faculty and students also won this award in 2011.
